Hi, I'm Nicole Mattingly,
an Educational Consultant for gifted learners, their families, and practitioners who help them.
The objective of Point of Experience is to bridge the sometimes disconnected perspectives of academics, parents, practitioners, and educators in order to pragmatically support the needs of gifted learners.
What Can I Do For You?
On this site, you will find resources with data-driven knowledge of best pedagogical practices for parents and educators.
You can also follow my latest speaking engagements here.
Helping Students
The complexity of talented and gifted learners doesn't have to be a mystery. And they don't need to be "fixed". I help students understand how to navigate through the social challenges they may face in life and school. In addition, they will learn to navigate through unique emotional needs in order to thrive.
Guiding Parents
Parenting is hard. Parenting a child who is a gifted learner comes with a sense of pride but at times, a unique set of challenges. I focus on providing parents and guardians with ways to support and advocate for their child in life and the classroom.
Partnering with Educators
Educators are at the front-lines of identifying students who posses the qualities of gifted learners. I provide training and educational resources so teachers and administrators can create a safe and supportive environment for talented students.
Speaking Engagements
I love opportunities where I can interact with individuals and share my knowledge about how to serve gifted students. You can find me on the conference circuit by checking my speaking schedule.
Data & Research
I believe there is a gap in studies for talented and gifted learners. I specialize in conducting case studies which corroborate theory with real-life application.
Useful Resources
My academic studies and first-hand experience have been molded by the minds that came before me. I want to share my vast library of resources with you and empower you in your journey.
